When I configure COM1 of QTERM A12 as RS485, I get the following error

Setsystemsetting: value is not within expected range (#141)

In the 'Serial' page of bootup settings, I set the following values.
Baud: 9600
Format: 8E1
Port Type: EIA-485

The firmare version is 2.901 and the CPU is ARM920T-PXA3xx/0.

What could be the issue?

RS-485 in that particular version of firmware does not work. I'm researching if there is a newer build that will fix that. I will let you know what I find out.

Thank you Ron for confirming that it is an issue with the firmware. Were you able to find a newer build?

We're planning to work on this and have an update out within the next 10 days.

We've released an update.

To install:
1. Try upgrading the firmware by downloading this .bin file from Qlarity Foundry:
https://beijerelectronicsinc.sharefile. ... 82f754728b

2. If 1. doesn't work follow the instructions in this .ZIP file.

Best Regards,
