I'd like to capture performance-related data from a TREQ-M4.

I have successfully copied Cemgrc.exe to the TREQ and used it to connect to Remote Kernel Tracker over TCP.

However, I'd like to collect data on a standalone TREQ without an ActiveSync or Ethernet connection. For this, I think I need to run CeLogFlush on the TREQ to capture the data to a file.

Do QSI have a pre-compiled version of CeLogFlush for the TREQ M4?

Thanks,
Kenn

Currently we do not have a precompiled version of CeLogFlush. However, I will look into it and see what I can come up with.

I found the sources for CeLogFlush in the Platform Builder SAMPLES directory and hacked together my own as a Vs2008 C++ project, rather than trying to get the full Platform Builder environment up and running.

It seems to work fine for me, so there is no big rush on this.

By the way, while investigating my particular issue, I'm seeing a lot of a activity in Kernel Tracker on an NK.EXE thread that runs at priority 40 (TREQ M4, CE 6.0 R3, build 1.09). This isn't one of the "normal" priorities listed at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/library/ee483074.aspx. Is this a QSI- or TREQ-specific driver or application? Any idea what it might be responsible for?

Thanks,
Kenn

The thread with priority 40 is neither QSI nor TREQ driver specific. It is one of the core parts of CE 6.0 kernel. During system boot up, it loads few file system related libraries and then becomes dirty page cleaning thread running in background.
