Hi all,

I just built up a new dev machine with Win7. When I tried to install the Treq-DX SDK MSI, the Treq BSP would not appear in Visual Studio.

After some playing around I found that you need to set the UAC (User Access Control) in Win7 to its lowest setting. Once this is done, run the MSI to install the SDK and everything will appear in VS and work fine.

After you're done with the SDK install you can set the UAC back to whatever you want, but the security popups can get annoying. I've found if you have a good virus and firewall package installed you don't really need to set the UAC to anything other than the lowest setting.

Hope this helps anyone moving to Win7.

Cheers,

-rob.
