I have been simulating most of the code through my PC port. I just downloaded program code and the baud rate is slow. How do I set the baud rate in code for the com1 port ?

I use:

transmit(com1, toTx, false)

to send the data.

I tried to get my answer through Object Documentation but no info. Is there another source for technical data ?

Jerry

This can be configured using Power On Setup, as detailed in theQlarity Terminal Hardware Manual

If you prefer to set it in software, you can try

Code:

'Global code

func Startup()

    handles MSG_INIT

    'Replace 9600 with the baud rate you wish to use.

    'This will set the baud rate of COM1 to 9600 until SetSystemSetting

    'is called again to set a new baud rate, or until the terminal reboots

    SetSystemSetting (SYS_COM1BAUD, 9600, SYSACT_DONOW)

endfunc
