Hello,

I am trying to dynamically change the mlsoftkey objects of a mlsoftkeybar.

default init for mlsofkeybar
init softkeylist :=[_mlsoftkey2,_mlsoftkey1]

I want to set the keys in my application so I trieed to do this
init softkeylist :=[]

int my app have some code that sets up the bar how I want it
ie..
mlsoftkeybar.softkeylist(_mlsofkey1,1)
mlsoftkeybar.softkeylist(_mlsofkey2,2)

when I compile i get two errors
1)too many parameters for the function
2)cannot convert mlsoftkey to softkeyv2

I am using Qlarity 2.50 for everything, has this been addressed or is there some other option.

Thanks.

Looks like there are just some syntax issues here.

The "softkeylist" property is an array of type SoftKeyV2, so you'll need to create an array of that type and then change the property.

Code:
dim newSKList[] as SoftKeyV2
init newSKList := [MLSoftKey_1, MLSoftKey_2]
MLSoftKeyBar_1.softKeyList = newSKList

You'll notice that although the array is of type SoftKeyV2, I was able to use MLSoftKey types with it.

Thanks,
I'll try that. I was confused by the softkeylist method which stated that I could send in a softkeyV2 and an index for the key.
