Running Qlarity Foundry 2.63 on a Windows 2008 server x64 we get this error anytime we try to download a bff or firmware to any G70 device over IP. We have other 2008 x64 Servers that work fine. Uninstall/Reinstall Foundry did not fix the problem. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT:
I also tried the following:
1. Run as Administrator
2. Run in compatibility mode for s2008 SP1, s2003, XP, Vista all to no avail.

Is this an error message being returned from the terminal in the communication window? Can you verify what version of Qlarity Foundry are you using and what version of firmware is on the terminal?

If you think this is a Qlarity Foundry specific problem, you may want to try using this application to download the .bff and see if it makes a difference:

2.63 on both. Initially the G70 had 2.60, and I was going to try to install 2.63 onto the G70, but that failed with the same error. So I upgraded the firmware from a different working server.

The message itself is from Qlarity Foundry. It doesn't *appear* to contact the unit at all. It seems to happen immediately after selecting the BFF or firmware file.

I will try the uploader right now and report back.

Thanks!

Downloader worked fine for us, thanks. Will include it with our installs now.

Don't know what's wrong with Foundry, but not a big deal anymore. :D
