Files created in Simulation mode of Qlarity Foundry are not normally saved to the PC's file system. They are stored in RAM and reset when Qlarity Foundry is reset.

You can create a file that will be permanently saved, if you want. The secret is to create the file in the "/sim:" directory in Simulation View. For example OpenFile ("/sim:/myData.txt", FILE_WRITE and FILE_BINARY) note: the FILE_BINARY is mandatory.

Depending on which version of Qlarity Foundry you are using, this will be saved on your hard drive in different locations. For Qlarity Foundry 2.43-2.62, this will be located in your Qlarity Foundry install directory. For example: "c:\Program Files\QSI Corporation\Qlarity Foundry\SimFiles" For Qlarity Foundry 2.63 and later, this will be found in your application data directory. On my Windows XP box, this is at "C:\Documents and Settings\my username\Local Settings\Application Data\Qlarity2\runtime\SimFiles"
