For wireless development, I strongly suggest using Qlarity 2.60 or higher (http://www.qsicorp.com/engfiles/Qlarity ... _setup.exe). This provides more, and improved objects for dealing with the wireless interface.

To signal to your users the state of the wireless connection, I would suggest the WifiSignalV2 object, which will display that nicely. This provides a basic "bars" setup like a wireless phone has.

For a more detailed look at things (e.g. for your use, but probably too much for most end users), I would suggest the SystemStatusV2 object, which will tell you every single thing you could possibly find out about the wireless state.

For setting up a connection, I would suggest the WiFiConfigV2a object.

Starting in 2.61 (yet to be released, but beta versions can be found at http://www.qsicorp.com/engfiles/bleeding_edge), a new WiFiNetworkGrid object will allow you to browse in-range networks, select them and enter password/key information which will be stored so that you can roam between several networks and have the G58 remember them all.
