I would like to download some JPEG images via http so that someone using the terminal may view these images. I was wondering if there is some existing API function or some support for displaying JPEG images. If not, are there any plans to implement some functionality to support this?

I assume you mean you wish to have the terminal use HTTP to download jpeg images and display them. (As opposed to you using your web browser to download the jpeg images and incorporate them into your application)

This is not currently possible (unless you want to implement your own jpeg decoder in Qlarity). This is a general discussion feature that we have considered several times, but we do not currently have plans to add this to Qlarity. I have noted on our feature list that you have requested it however.
