Hi,

I have a G58E and whenever I initiate the SDRAM Test from Power On Setup - Diagnostics menu, it immediately says it failed. However, all apps that I download to the terminal always work fine (unless I mess up the programming

).

Is this just a bug in the Power On Setup firmware or is there really some problem? My G58E is very new (received Dec 29, 2008).

This is a known bug in firmware version 2.580. I suggest that you download and install Qlarity Foundry version 2.60 which contains an updated firmware image for the G58E. Using Qlarity Foundry 2.60 you can update the firmware in your G58E to version 2.60 and this will correct the error you are seeing.

Qlarity Foundry version 2.60 can be downloaded from:
