Should I uninstall version 2.4 before installing 2.5 or can they both be installed on a machine and run independently?

They can both be on a machine and run independently. However due to an issue in the installer software, installing 2.5 will uninstall 2.4 automatically.

To deal with this, I recommend you rename your Qlarity Foundry directory (e.g. c:\program files\QSI Corporation\QlarityFoundry") to something else before you install 2.5 (at least if you care to keep 2.4 around. If you don't then it doesn't matter).

2.5 can open 2.4 workspaces without any known problems.

If you want to have 2.40 and 2.50 available, copy the files where its currently installed into a new directory, then install 2.50 which will override and replace the existing 2.40. 2.50 will be your default, but you can run Qlarity 2.40 from the copy you made before installation, if you want that version.
