To execute a POST set the executepost property to true. However, that's the easy part. The more difficult part is knowing how to configure the postheader and postdata properties.

Here is an example HTTP POST packet.

Quote:
POST /path/script.cgi HTTP/1.0

From: frog@jmarshall.com

User-Agent: HTTPTool/1.0

Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded

Content-Length: 32

home=Cosby&favorite+flavor=flies

Here is how you would configure the properties for this HTTP POST.

Code:
init url := "/path/script.cgi"

init postheader := "From: frog@jmarshall.com\r\nUser-Agent: HTTPTool/1.0\r\nContent-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded\r\nContent-Length: 32\r\n"

init postdata := "home=Cosby&favorite+flavor=flies\r\n"

A good way to run a trace is to use a freeware program called WireShark. This will allow you to sniff all of the traffic on your PC's ethernet port, including HTTP POST's and GET's.
