Very interesting background reading. While I am happy enough with our array APIs their concept of slicing and arrays which directly have methods is actualy very intriguing. Not sure I like the idea of arrays which share their data (although it could improve efficiency in a few places)



But it does show one implementation of an associative array for arbitrary data types.
